At Lumena, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our AI image generation and editing SaaS platform (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address via our authentication provider (Supabase). This is necessary to create and manage your account.

User Content (Images & Prompts): We collect the images you upload and the text prompts you enter to process them through our AI models (powered by Google GenAI). Your generated images and their corresponding source images are stored securely to provide you with your personal generation history.

Payment Information: When you purchase credits or subscribe, our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, collects your payment details. Lumena does not directly store or process your credit card information. We only receive payment confirmation, subscription status, and a customer ID to provision your account with credits.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • To process your source images and prompts via AI APIs to generate your requested edits.
  • To manage your account, subscription, and credit balance.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your inquiries.

Note on AI Training: Lumena does not use your uploaded images or generated content to train our own AI models. We pass your inputs to Google GenAI solely for fulfilling your immediate generation request. Please refer to Google's data privacy policies regarding their GenAI API usage.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data (profiles, generation history, and images) is securely stored manually using Supabase, which implements Row Level Security (RLS). This ensures that your generation history and images are only accessible by you when logged into your account.

4. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services to operate Lumena:

  • Supabase: For database, authentication, and secure image storage.
  • Google GenAI (Gemini): For processing prompts and generating image modifications.
  • Lemon Squeezy: As our Merchant of Record for handling secure payments and subscriptions.

5. Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated data. If you wish to permanently delete your account, generation history, or any uploaded images, please contact us.
