Welcome to Lumena. By accessing or using our website, platform, and services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Lumena provides AI-powered image editing and generation tools that allow users to modify uploaded images using text prompts and predefined presets. The service requires an account and operates on a credit-based system.

2. User Accounts

To use the Studio features, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You are given 5 free credits upon initial signup.

3. Credits, Payments, and Subscriptions

  • Credits System: Image generations consume credits. Some advanced models may require more credits per generation than default ones.
  • Purchased Credits: You can buy additional "Credit Packs" which are added to your account permanently and do not expire.
  • Subscriptions: Optional monthly subscriptions grant a recurring quota of credits. Subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused subscription credits do not roll over.
  • Payments: All payments are securely processed by Lemon Squeezy acting as the Merchant of Record.
  • Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your credits and plan will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use & Content Policy

You agree not to use Lumena to upload, generate, or modify images that:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights or copyrights of third parties.
  • Contain explicit adult content, non-consensual graphic material, gore, or extreme violence.
  • Promote hate speech, harassment, or illegal acts.

Lumena reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that frequently attempt to bypass content safety filters or violate these terms.

5. Ownership of Content

You retain all rights to the original images you upload. Lumena claims no ownership over your inputs or the resulting AI-generated outputs. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use the source images you upload.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service, including the AI generation capabilities, is provided "AS IS", without warranties of any kind. Because the service relies on artificial intelligence, generation results are unpredictable and not guaranteed to be perfect or suitable for any specific purpose. Network errors, API timeouts, or service unavailability may occasionally occur.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium / European Union, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
